My thoughts on the Bambu Lab A1!

Image
It happened! I now officially own my own Bambu Lab A1 3D printer! I'm so glad I made the choice to get her. There's so many fun and cool things I want to say and I'll try and say as much as I can but there's just so much that I'm bound to forget something.  Right out of the box were many good first impressions. Some assembly was required but I love assembling things so this was no issue. The assembly was a breeze and anyone could do the setup just fine. As soon as I got her working, she impressed me with her first Benchy! She works FAST!!! Comparing my old printer's Benchy with my new printer's Benchy is absolutely astonishing. The difference in quality is visible! Both printers use the same filament, the same nozzle size, printing the same model. After Benchy was successful, it was time for me to experiment with (as I call my A1 now:) Ayuna. Naturally, getting a new printer means that I'm gonna go on a printing spree and frenzy and already test Ayuna ...

Update on the 3D Printer

After a couple of days feeling very impatient, I now have an update on my Bambu Lab A1! It's supposed to come this Friday. Hopefully they stick to that date.  I'm super excited to receive the printer and finally replace the old one! I'm planning on hosting a YouTube stream when I unbox it and test it out. While I do the first test prints, I'll host some gameplay from whatever games I have on my computer. Most likely could be Minecraft.  I'm eager to print a Benchy boat (A model used to test 3D Printers) on the old and then new one to see the difference in quality.  I got so many print plans and ideas that I can't wait to test out! I even have a whole library of models that I found online that I saved for this occasion. I have so many models that I know for sure my printer would struggle to print correctly.  I eagerly await its arrival! Also, my printer OC's name is now "Ayuna"

I miss the early 2000s

I woke up today randomly missing the early 2000s. My brain was barely formed back then yet I miss the vibe of living in the year 2007. It was like the core year of the 2000s for me. That or 2004.  There's just something about how things were that's so massively appealing. The media that was on TV, how young YouTube was, the fashion, the trends, the game consoles. I remember when the DS came into my family and shortly after we had a Nintendo Wii.  I still remember the night that I tried out my Wii. And now it collects dust, unused in our TV stand in the basement.  I'm fine with the current era but I just can't help but miss those good ole days.  It must just be normal for those who were already grown up. It was just another passing decade. But for me, it's like a hometown but within time itself. It's like 2002-2009 is where I'm from and I'm simply just living somewhere else now. Technically, I really am. I moved from my actual hometown in 2013. I miss the...

Absolutely obsessed with this 3D Printer...

This... this printer. I need this printer. I want this printer.  The Bambu Labs A1 I've had my current XYZ DaVinci 1.0 Pro for 6-7 years. I've had it since December of 2018.  It's old and I need a new one. I'm hoping the A1 can be my new one.  Every video I watch, every thing I read about it, it just keeps getting better and better. It's so appealing that I cannot NOT buy it.  And of course this isn't a decision on a whim at all. I actually wrote down a whole list of things that are wrong with my current printer v.s. things that are great about the A1. So what's wrong with my current printer? It's old I got this thing December of 2018. Older 3D Printing technology Liable to bullshit me Sometimes when I press a button to see how much time the print has left, it has a super rare chance of glitching and beeping and stopping the print midway through… this has only happened once or twice but I’d rather it not happen again That printer likes to botch a print...

10 Years of M-T Creations!!!

Welp, this is it! October 17th, 2024. 10 years after I started my YouTube channel on October 17th, 2014.  I've come a very long way since then, turning making YouTube content into one of my favorite hobbies of all time! Here's the link to the premiere of the special! (It starts at noon!)

One big life update to tell it all. . .

Image
When I think about blogs, I always think about people telling about their day or venting about the week they had. I would do the same but I feel like maybe I could just provide a major update every once in a while instead. Then the rest of my posts are just me talking about whatever I'm currently working on or random thoughts of mine... is that all the same thing? Maybe it is... I don't know.  Well anyway, maybe I could provide these 'Life Updates' every month or so. I got some things on my mind that I want to share. It could also help keep things together cause it's all noise in my head. It's hard to organize it all and I'm always trying to find new and better ways to do so.  I can kick things off here with talking about my personal elephant in the room:  October 17th, tomorrow as of this post, is the 10 Year Anniversary of my YouTube channel, M-T Creations!  I started this YouTube channel back in 2014 with the intent of creating only Minecraft videos under...

Welcome to the Official M-T Creations blog!

Welcome to M-T Creations: Reading edition All my life I was always more of a writer than a reader. I don't read that fast in my head and I often lose track and have a hard time paying attention. But man do I like to write things out.  I also always thought that blogs would be boring. To maintain and to read through. But people enjoy them so I guess it would be worth a valid shot. It's also the 10 year anniversary of my YouTube channel so I think starting something big like this makes sense in some way. I'm hoping to write a lot about what I do, who I am, and overall about what's going on in my life. That's what you do on a blog, right? I also started a poll asking my YouTube subscribers if they think I should start a blog. 14 people said yes and I imagine about 14 people will find this interesting... So here we go.  I usually like to structure things like these and plan it out more thoroughly but honestly, I'm just gonna go with the flow and if I wanna talk abo...
